May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to shed light on the importance of mental well-being and celebrate the resilience of those living with mental health conditions. Here at Hearts 4 Minds, we're gearing up to make some noise and spread awareness throughout the month!

This year, Mayo Clinic has awarded a combined total of $322,863.47 in grants to 28 organizations and programs that will address the key community health needs identified in the Northeast Florida Community Health Needs Assessment.

With so many puzzle pieces that make up an individual, people are having trouble identifying when they are struggling with mental health issues or behavioral health problems. Hearts 4 Minds is delving into what exactly behavioral health is, and how the two differentiate.

We know how isolating it can be to have a loved one in the throes of a mental health crisis. That's why we're taking you on a journey through the maze of guilt and the feeling of being "stuck" that often comes with it. We're here to remind you that it's okay to ask for help, to connect with resources, to speak up. Mental health is as critical as physical health, and it's time we started treating it that way.
